A happy little llama wearing a scarf! Apparently the photo this is based on originated in a Banana Republic ad several years ago, and has had some meme-like popularity on Reddit since then. I didn’t know that when I did this painting. I just like happy llamas. 🙂
Lupita Nyong’o is just an impossibly beautiful person, and this photo of her from New York Magazine is incredible. I don’t think that I quite captured the resemblance, but this was still a fun drawing to do. 🙂
Felt like painting something with a little escapism to it… I loved this photo of Inverness, Scotland. Makes me want to visit one day!
I really love actress and author Carrie Hope Fletcher‘s Youtube videos. Recently she cut her super curly hair quite short, and it’s so cute that I had to draw it. 🙂
A little diva in a fabulous early 20th century negligee. Obviously, this is how I look every morning.
Have any of you seen the TV series Blandings? It’s my go-to show whenever I need to have a good, proper laugh. Art deco hijinks and incredibly smart British humor… It’s pretty much perfect. 🙂 This is a little portrait of the main characters, the Emsworth family.
This is another miniature painting, about 2 inches tall. I was really inspired by Liana Hee’s mini mermaids, so I decided to try drawing some tiny fairies! 🙂
A little portrait of my sweet kitty. 🙂 I used this photo as a reference because it looks like her and I can’t get the real thing to stay still long enough for a picture.
In the past I’ve had a hard time painting black cats and capturing the variety in light and color on their coats, but I think I’m finally getting close here.
A little 1940s-inspired lady. 🙂 I’ve been practicing some miniature painting recently. In real life this drawing is about 2 inches tall!
