Sketchy Clock Tower

sketchyclocktower

A rough little sketch I did of a clock tower while sitting outside and waiting for my sister’s class to start. A reminder that I need to have something better than a pencil and a notebook with me when I’m out and about. 😛

That leads me to a question for you guys. Do any of you have a specific “kit” that you carry with you for on location sketching? What are your staples for drawing on the go?

  1. Nice sketch, and it’s much better to have pencil+notebook than nothing at all!
My smallest kit for sketching contains a pencil, an eraser, a small sketchbook and a Pitt artist pen… when I know I need some color I add a waterbrush and my tiny palette made out of a stellbox that is supposed to contain calling cards… that is the smallest possible kit, fits in every bag:-)
